The Morven Swirl is a 400ml mug that stirs itself, with a digital temperature display on the handle, a 316 stainless steel interior and USB-C charging, in white, black or beige brown.

Anything powdered settles. Coffee granules, cocoa, protein, a supplement you are meant to take every morning: it goes in, it sinks, and it ends up as a sludge at the bottom of the cup. A magnetic stirrer in the base spins at 7,000rpm on a double click of the handle button, pulls the whole mug into a vortex, and stops by itself after thirty seconds. The handle also reads out the temperature of what is inside, which settles the usual question of whether it is still too hot without committing to a sip. The lining is 316 stainless, the grade used where corrosion resistance matters, and it rinses straight under the tap.

No. The display reads the temperature of what is in the mug, it does not heat it or hold it at a temperature. It is a stirring mug with a thermometer, not a heated one.

Double-click the button on the handle. The stirrer runs for thirty seconds and stops on its own, so there is nothing to switch off.

The body is splash-resistant and rinses under the tap. The manufacturer does not list it as dishwasher safe, and it holds a battery and a motor, so hand rinsing is the sensible assumption.
